Imagine a space where you can share your deepest fears, your toughest days, and even your smallest victories, without the fear of being judged. Here, your feelings are valid, your story matters, and no one compares your struggles to someone else’s. This is a space where everyone listens to understand, not to criticise. Healing begins where judgment ends
What’s shared here, stays here. In this space, your words are respected, your privacy is protected, and your story is yours to tell. Whether you choose to open up now or take your time, you can trust that everything you share is held with care and never leaves the group. Healing happens when you feel safe, and confidentiality is the foundation of that safety.
This is your journey, and there’s no pressure to rush. Whether you’re ready to share your story or prefer to just listen, every step you take is a step forward. Here, growth isn’t about how fast you move, it’s about moving in a way that feels right for you. No timelines, no comparisons, just a safe space where you can explore, reflect, and heal at your own pace.
I am so grateful to Allah to have found this. For the first time in years, I have a space where I can be at peace with my journey. I always felt like I had to hide parts of myself, but here, I’m free to be exactly who I am
I didn’t know what to do, but finding a group that understood my faith and my struggles made all the difference. I kept waiting for the right time to get help, but starting with this group made me realise there’s no perfect time, just the right step forward
I thought no one could relate to what I was going through, but hearing others share their stories made me realise I wasn’t alone. At first, I was nervous about joining, but now I feel like I’ve found a family that truly supports me

Islamic Group Therapy is a faith-centered therapeutic approach that combines psychological support with Islamic values, providing an affordable, accessible and fully confidential safe space for emotional healing and personal growth.
Islamic Group Therapy aims at providing affordable & accessible therapy. We therefore only charge a flat fee of £30/35€ per session!
We keep our Islamic Group Therapy classes at max. 15 participants. Unless advertised differently, please join our waiting list to be updated when a new group starts, or spaces become available.
Absolutely! Confidentiality is a cornerstone of Islamic Group Therapy. What’s shared in the group stays in the group. Every member is required to sign a contract with our T&C's to ensure that everyone feels safe to open up!
Islamic Group Therapy provides the unique benefit of shared experiences, diverse perspectives, and peer support, all within a structured and professionally guided setting.
Absolutely! Healing is only possible within the rules and regulations of Islam. Therefore, we have Groups for women and are actively working on Groups for men.
Despite high demands, it is our goal to deliver Islamic Group Therapy that is actually effective. Thus, groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 15 participants, to ensure everyone feels heard and supported.
Studies show that weekly talking therapy sessions are most effective. Therefore, Islamic Group Therapy sessions are held weekly, giving participants consistent support yet enough time to reflect between meetings.
Islamic Group Therapy sessions typically include group discussions, sharing experiences (voluntarily), learning coping strategies, and reflecting on Islamic principles for healing.
Islamic Group Therapy sessions are currently remote, making them accessible to more people
We completely understand that certain situations require a more private approach. Head over to Lillahicounselling.com to explore Faith based counselling.
Why is therapy so expensive???
As a counsellor you get confronted with questions like that on a regular basis - it’s the kind of question that keeps you up at night. You become a counsellor to help people but who are you truly helping? During training they tell you “Enough people with money have problems to afford your service” but aren’t we missing the point?
One could try to argue that therapy isn’t expensive it’s just not affordable to many but the result is the same: people who need help can’t get it.
So on a seemingly random, cold Friday afternoon, whilst working on my 1:1 counselling business, lillahicounselling.com, Allah allows me to have a ground breaking AHA! moment.
A moment that could transform & save hundreds of lives.
So I do what any responsible young adult would do, I call my mother [aka my best friend].
Within 24 hours I had come up with a business name, a logo, and a website design. But being a business owner with a budget equivalent to the worth of a Tesco meal deal, requires a lot more than that. All of the sudden you have to turn into a marketing expert, videographer, voice over artist, scenarist, video editor, social media & SEO specialist, brand strategist, web designer, outreach specialist and apparently also a writer whilst not neglecting your full time job, studies & interpersonal relationships.
But the vision of being able to make counselling more affordable to as many people as possible kept me up at night for all the right reasons. So, if you’re reading this - welcome! You could be part of something great. Wether by benefitting from our low cost Islamic Group Therapy or by supporting us behind the scenes.
I pray that Allah guides & protects whoever reads this & that he grants you blessings from doors you never dared to believe were possible - Ameen!
This is only the beginning of what I believe to be the revolution of how we heal from & navigate this Dunya,
With Allah & For Allah
May Allah correct our intentions, grant us success and allow us to benefit as many people as possible
أمين
